ENTERTAINMENT: DID SANKU SEE IT COMING? THE EERIE SIGNS BEFORE HIS DEATH

The tragic passing of Nigerian skit maker, Raji Samad Adetola, popularly known as Mr Sanku Comedy, has continued to send shockwaves across the entertainment industry. But beyond the grief, friends and fans are beginning to piece together chilling signs that the young comedian might have unconsciously predicted his own death.

Weeks before the accident that claimed his life on the Oyo–Ogbomoso expressway, Sanku had released a skit where he jokingly portrayed himself in heaven, lamenting the absence of familiar faces, and even suggesting that his partner should join him in hell so they could “enjoy life together.” At the time, fans took it as another rib-cracking content from the ever-playful comedian. Today, that clip has taken on an entirely different meaning.

Reacting to his sudden demise, one of his close friends revealed another unsettling detail. According to him, the late skit maker had often complained bitterly about his new Lexus SUV car he was driving.

“Sanku always said that since the day he bought that car, it never gave him peace. He had been involved in accidents with it more than once, and he kept saying the car was a problem. Sadly, it was that same car that finally took his life,” the friend recounted in shock.

The revelation has left many wondering if the young comedian had sensed the looming danger. Some fans have since flooded his comment sections, replaying his old videos with goosebumps, pointing out how his last TikTok post carried the haunting message:
When it’s time for us to enjoy what we worked hard for, may we never lose our life.”

Adding to the grief, Mr Sanku Comedy has since been laid to rest in his hometown of Osogbo, with family, friends, and fans bidding him farewell in tears. His burial drew a somber crowd, a far cry from the joyful laughter he was known for inspiring.

For someone whose art was rooted in humor, it is a painful irony that his final days were clouded with such ominous undertones. While questions linger, one thing is clear—Mr Sanku Comedy lived fast, shone brightly, and left behind a legacy that proves even a minute of laughter can outlive tragedy.
