DG, NCSP FELICITATES MUSLIMS ON EID-EL-MAULUD, URGES REFLECTION ON WORTHY VIRTUES

The Director General of the Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership (NCSP), Mr. Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims in Nigeria, China, and across the globe on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud, commemorating the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

In his goodwill message, Mr. Tegbe, who leads the NCSP in strengthening Nigeria’s ties with its foremost development partner, China, urged Muslims to seize the season as a moment of deep reflection on the life and legacy of the Prophet. He emphasized the Prophet’s virtues of kindness, compassion, and spiritual guidance, encouraging believers to embody these qualities in their daily lives.

He further appealed to Nigerians to emulate the Prophet’s exemplary leadership, noting that the Prophet stood for peace, unity, and justice. Mr. Tegbe called on the Muslim faithful to use this year’s Eid-el-Maulud celebration to pray fervently for peaceful coexistence, stability, and security across the nation and beyond.

Reaffirming NCSP’s commitment to national progress, the DG noted that under his leadership, the organization will continue to bridge policy and execution by coordinating efforts across government agencies, the private sector, and diplomatic entities. He stressed that these efforts are geared towards ensuring that Nigeria fully maximizes its trade and investment relations with China for sustainable economic advancement.

Mr. Tegbe added that NCSP’s activities remain fully aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which seeks to fast-track national development and position Nigeria as Africa’s industrial powerhouse.
