The formal appointment letter was presented to Professor Omenugha by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, during a ceremony held at the Light House in Awka.
According to the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Soludo, Christian Aburime, the confirmation follows Professor Omenugha’s outstanding performance during her tenure as Acting Vice Chancellor—a period marked by significant institutional reforms, visionary leadership, and initiatives that have strengthened COOU’s path toward academic excellence and innovation.
