ZION MINISTRY OPENS FIRST OLD PEOPLE’S HOME AND ORPHANAGE IN IMO STATE

Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, a leading non-denominational ministry in Nigeria, has officially launched the first-ever Old People’s Home and Orphanage in Imo State, marking a significant step in humanitarian development within the region.

The newly commissioned Seraphic Home, located in Mgbirichi, Ohaji Egbema, near Owerri, was inaugurated by Governor Hope Uzodimma, who described the initiative as a “watershed moment in the provision of care for the elderly, needy, and less privileged.”

Governor Uzodimma commended the visionary effort of the Spiritual Director of Zion Ministry, Evangelist Chukwuebuka Obi, applauding his dedication to bringing meaningful development home to Imo State. He highlighted that the decision to expand Zion Ministry’s mission to the state was already yielding remarkable dividends in social impact and global attention.

“Evangelist Ebuka’s choice to locate this transformative project in Imo affirms the wisdom behind the state’s initial support for the ministry’s headquarters in Ngor Okpala. This is a path to greater global recognition,” the Governor noted.

In his remarks, Evangelist Ebuka Obi emphasized that the Seraphic Home was birthed from a deep desire to care for the most vulnerable—orphans and the elderly without caregivers. He explained that the facility offers free accommodation, food, clothing, education, and healthcare, ensuring that every resident experiences dignity, love, and comprehensive support.

“This state-of-the-art facility will serve as a nurturing environment where vulnerable individuals can thrive and feel a sense of belonging,” Evangelist Ebuka said. “It is a home of hope, and we are committed to replicating similar projects in other parts of the country.”

The Seraphic Orphanage and Home for the Elderly is not just a care facility; it is a centre for community engagement, volunteerism, skills development, and capacity building for caregivers and staff.

Zion Ministry’s Seraphic Home Foundation, a non-profit charitable arm of the ministry, continues to expand its footprint of compassion across Nigeria. The foundation runs numerous life-changing initiatives, including Educational scholarships for over 60 children annually. Medical bill support for patients with critical health needs. Outreach to impoverished families, providing sustenance and care

This milestone underscores Zion Ministry’s unwavering commitment to “touching and impacting lives positively” through faith-based compassion and service to humanity.
