2025: MINISTER OF WOMEN AFFAIRS, HAJIYA IMAAN SULAIMAN-IBRAHIM FELICITATES NIGERIAN WOMEN, GIRLS ON NATIONAL WORKERS’ DAY


The Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Nigerian women, girls, and the entire workforce as the nation commemorates the 2025 International Workers’ Day.

The Minister expressed deep appreciation for the dedication, resilience, and commitment of workers across all sectors—particularly staff of the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs—for their invaluable contributions to national development.

“I celebrate your hard work, commitment, and contributions to various sectors. Your tireless efforts have built a stronger, more resilient Nigeria. From healthcare and education to entrepreneurship and public service, your work continues to improve lives and shape our nation’s future.”

Commending the Ministry’s team specifically, the Minister said: â€śTo our Ministry’s staff, I commend your passion and dedication to promoting women’s empowerment and protecting their rights. Your work has made a lasting impact on the lives of Nigerian women and girls.”

Reaffirming alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the Minister emphasized the administration’s continued commitment to advancing workers’ welfare, ensuring safe and inclusive work environments, and fostering dignity and equity in the workplace.

“Together, we can build a brighter, more equitable future for all Nigerians.”

As part of the celebration, the Minister wished all Nigerian workers good health, fulfillment, and recognition for their efforts: â€śMay your labour be fruitful, and may your efforts be recognized and rewarded.”
