HEALTHGARDE BOOSTS WOMEN EMPOWERMENT AT LAGOS CONVENTION

Leading health and wellness company, Healthgarde International, marked its fifth anniversary and 2025 convention in grand style on Saturday, February 15, in Lagos, Nigeria. The event was a celebration of resilience, growth, and empowerment, with top-performing sales consultants rewarded with cash prizes, luxury gifts, and home-use gadgets.

RESILIENCE AMIDST CHALLENGES

Speaking to journalists at the convention, Healthgarde CEO, Mrs. Nneka Nwarueze, highlighted the company’s ability to navigate the economic challenges of 2024, emphasizing the importance of adaptability and perseverance. “We’ve come a long way since we started five years ago,” Nwarueze said. “We’ve learned to adapt to the changing business environment, and we’re particularly proud of our team members who have demonstrated exceptional performance, leadership, and commitment to our values. We are very happy to celebrate all of them today, especially our top achievers.”

AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS

The convention, themed “A Purple Affair”, honored outstanding performers across various categories. Mariam Oboh emerged as the Business Leader of the Year and Star of Africa, earning a double home-use gadget package and ₦500,000 cash prize. Judith Amaogo and Bolanle Aina secured the second and third positions, respectively.

Addressing the company’s hurdles, Mrs. Nwarueze noted the harsh business environment, inflation, reduced purchasing power, and stiff competition as major concerns. However, she reaffirmed Healthgarde’s commitment to quality products, local manufacturing, and continuous support for its consultants.

The 2025 convention was a testament to Healthgarde’s impact on women empowerment and financial independence, with several consultants sharing how the company had transformed their lives and fortunes.
