CELEBRATING AMINA OMOIKE AT 44: A TRAILBLAZER IN MEDIA AND MENTORSHIP

Today, February 4, marks a special milestone for Amina Omoike, a seasoned media professional and mentor, as she turns 44. Known for her outstanding contributions to journalism, public relations, and youth mentorship, Amina continues to leave an indelible mark on the industry and society at large.

Amina, who currently serves as the Group Head of Media Services at Mediacraft Associates, boasts nearly two decades of experience in media, having worked with top-tier publications such as The Comet, National Mirror, Nigerian Compass, Encomium Weekly, Newswatch, and Marketing Edge magazine. Her expertise in brand and marketing reporting has earned her numerous accolades, including the prestigious Nigerian Media Merit Award (NMMA) for Brands and Marketing Reporter of the Year in 2014 and the Female Reporter of the Year Award at the 2009 Media Nite-Out Awards. She was also a runner-up in the Telecommunications Reporter of the Year category at NMMA 2016.

Beyond her professional achievements, Amina is deeply committed to mentoring and empowering the next generation. Her role in the Young Girls in School Initiative, a program of Event Diary Lifestyle, has been pivotal in shaping young minds and encouraging education among teenage girls. Her dedication to youth development extends further, as she also volunteers at the Scripture Union Long Vacation Camp, reinforcing her passion for building future leaders.

I would recall during our last year International Day of the Girl Child celebration, it wasn’t really convenient for you because you had an online meeting to attend while also serving as one of our panelists. Yet, you showed up and gave your all—you are indeed a rare gem. I also remember how you reached out to me after our first International Women’s Day with the Young Girls in School Initiative, which we didn’t invite you to, and you expressed your willingness to attend and offer your service for free. Ever since then, you have remained a strong pillar of support for our programs and our brand, Event Diary Lifestyle.

We also can’t thank you enough for making our Adeola Ladire Royal Fabric your number one Adire plug! Your unwavering belief in our work and your continued encouragement mean the world to us.

Recognizing her contributions, Event Diary Lifestyle Publisher, Princess Adeola Shittu extends warm wishes to Amina on this special day. "Amina Omoike is not just a media leader; she is a force of inspiration. Her impact on the Young Child in School Initiative has been truly transformative, and we deeply appreciate her unwavering support in empowering young girls and boys. We celebrate her today and always. Happy Birthday, Amina!"

As she embarks on another year of influence and impact, tributes continue to pour in from colleagues, mentees, and admirers who celebrate her resilience, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Happy Birthday, Amina Omoike! Here’s to more years of success, leadership, and positive transformation.
