Mukaila Senwele, a renowned Lagos-based musician of Ilorin origin, has tragically passed away. According to family sources, the beloved entertainer died on Friday evening.
Mukaila, a native of the Esinrogunjo family compound in the Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, was widely celebrated for his unique style and captivating performances that endeared him to many socialites and fans.
In a conversation with ROYAL NEWS, a family member disclosed that Mukaila showed no signs of illness before his sudden death.
"There was no sign of sickness. He was with his fans throughout the day and even promised to come to the family house (Ile Esinrogunjo) later in the night," the source shared.
The tragedy unfolded unexpectedly when an emergency call came from the location where he had been lodging with his fans. "My elder brother and some others rushed to the scene and tried to get him to the hospital, but sadly, we lost Mukaila to the cold hands of death."
Mukaila’s Janazah (Islamic funeral) has been scheduled for Saturday morning in line with Islamic traditions.
Fans, family, and the entertainment community mourn the loss of this talented artist, whose presence and artistry will be deeply missed.
