The town of Ede in Osun State will come alive on Saturday, January 18, 2025, as children, friends, and members of the Islamic community gather to honor the late Alhaja Huseinat Ayoke Yusuf, the Iya Adinni of Nuru Li Islam Central Mosque, Ede. The occasion marks her 8th-day fidau prayer and final burial ceremony.
Alhaja Huseinat Ayoke Yusuf passed away in the early hours of Friday, January 10, 2025, at the age of 75. She was laid to rest the same day, in accordance with Islamic rites.The 8th-day fidau prayer and final burial ceremony are scheduled to take place at Y.T.D. Grammar School, Oke Yidi, Ede, Osun State.
The late Alhaja Huseinat Ayoke Yusuf was the mother of Alhaji Kamorudeen Yusuf, a well-known traditional medicine practitioner and CEO of Ayesoro Healing Center. She was married to the late Alabi Yusuf, the Giwa Adinni of Wakajaye Central Mosque, Ede.
The event promises to be a befitting tribute to a woman cherished by her family and the Islamic community at large.
