EDUCATION: BOWEN VC COMMENDS GLO FOR DIGITAL SUPPORT

The Vice Chancellor of Bowen University, Professor Jonathan Oyebamiji Babalola, has praised Globacom for its consistent provision of digital services to the institution over the years. He made the commendation during a recent visit by the Enterprise Sales team of Globacom, led by Mr. Adeniyi Odejobi, to the university campus in Iwo, Osun State.

Professor Babalola expressed his satisfaction with Globacom's unwavering commitment to delivering uninterrupted digital services to the university. He also took the opportunity to request additional support for the university's CSR initiatives, which aim to enhance its mission of producing better graduates and advancing the institution’s goals.

In response, Mr. Odejobi, representing Globacom, highlighted the company’s leadership in the telecommunications industry, noting its 21-year track record of innovation and service to various sectors, including education. He emphasized that Globacom is responsible for Nigeria's extensive telephone penetration and has pioneered numerous innovations, including the Glo 1 international submarine cable.

Mr. Odejobi encouraged Bowen University to further strengthen its partnership with Globacom, particularly in utilizing services like Glo LMS, Toll-Free Data, and Mobility solutions, which would enhance the university's digital capabilities and help propel it to greater heights.
