Richard Adamu Tallen, the only son of former Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen, has passed away at the age of 42. He died at Cedar Crest Hospital in Abuja, where he had been receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness.
According to family sources, Richard had been in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and was placed on oxygen before his death. His passing was confirmed by his alma mater, the Vom Old Boys' Association (VOBA), in a statement shared on social media. The statement read: "On a very sad note, we regret to announce the sudden passing of our member, Mr. Richard Adamu Tallen. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord; may perpetual light shine upon him. May the soul of Richard and all departed VOBA members rest in peace. Amen."Richard Tallen, a graduate of Computer Science from a U.S. university, leaves behind his wife and three children. His death marks another significant loss for the Tallen family, following the passing of his father, John Tallen, in 2017.
