BRIEF ABOUT HER
Aduke Ajayi, popularly known as Aduke Gold, is a renowned and versatile Nigerian gospel minister who hails from Ilesha, Osun State. She is also a proven educationist, horticulturist, and entrepreneur with a record of many academic qualifications. She bagged her first degree in History and International Relations from Lagos State University. She also attained her second-degree certification from the University of Lagos and many other professional qualifications.
Aduke started music at age five when she had her first song composition. Her call to music as a career started professionally in the year 2004. She sang along with the Late gospel minister Roland, popularly known as Baba Ara and others. Aduke Penkele, as she was fondly called during her early days in the music industry, was mentored by Lady Evangelist Tope Alabi, the veteran Nigerian gospel song minister who made her realize through the gospel songs she sings her dream of becoming great can be achieved. Aduke's nickname, “Penkele,” was later changed by Lady Evangelist Tope Alabi, as to her, the name does not suit her personality. So far, Aduke has had a steady rise in the music industry, but she still hasn't seen the gospel industry of her dream inlieu of the challenges around the ministry of songs from her standpoint.
Aduke Ajayi believes “every sinner has a future and every saint has a past.” for the love of Christ, it is important to love everybody. Nevertheless, the untiring Aduke Gold whose days of beginning were very challenging, claims her song titled “Nitori Ogo” was written from God's given inspiration relative to her past personal experience. In a-list of Aduke's role models are Chief Ebenezer Obey, King Sunny Ade, Mama Bola Are, Mama Dupe Olulana, and lady evangelist Tope Alabi. As much as she loves her music lover, her advice to every aspiring gospel artist is to put God first, “be yourself,” and understand that it is only God that can lead you to stardom.
