CREST FM APPOINTS TEMITOPE DARE AS HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT, AKURE STATION

Ahead of the Workers Day celebration, the Governing board of Cresthills Media Concepts Ltd (Owners of Crest 106.1fm, Akure and Crest 91.1fm, Ibadan a leading radio station announced key management position for its Akure and Ibadan staff.

The pioneer Provost of Crest FM Media Academy, Temitope Dare has been appointed as the Head of the Business Development Department (Akure Station) while the former Head of Program, Akure Station Mr Olaide Abioye is the new Head of Ibadan Station.

The Group's Chief Operating Officer, Mr Adeolu Gboyega disclosed a meeting with members of staff in Akure, the Ondo state capital.

According to him, In furtherance of its drive to reward excellence and develop the competence of staff members, the board of Cresthills Media Concepts Ltd (Owners of Crest 106.1fm, Akure and Crest 91.1fm, Ibadan) has approved the elevation of the following staff into different management positions. The new management staff are:

1. Temitope Dare as the Head of the Business Development Department (Akure Station)

2. Abanikanda Leo-Olagbaye as the Deputy Head of the Business Development Department (Research & Documentation - Akure station),

3. Kayode Kikiowo (DJ Kaykang) as the Deputy Head of Programmes (Akure station)

4. Oluwadamilola Taiwo as the Head of Programmes(Akure station)

5. Janet Mark Ayangbemi as the Head of News and Current Affairs(Ibadan Station),

6. Funmilola Afolabi as the Head of News and Current Affairs(Akure station)

7. Adedapo Akinola as the Head of Programmes(Ibadan Station)

8. Eniola Olurankinse- Head of Reportorial/Deputy Head of News (Akure station)

9. Olalekan Oderinu as the Deputy Head of News(Ibadan Station)

10. Olamide Olumide as the Deputy Head of Programmes(Ibadan Station)

11. Ife Adedola as the Head of Production Unit(Akure Station)

Their appointment takes effect from the 1st of May, 2024.

BRIEF ON TEMITOPE DARE

Temitope Dare fondly called Ajoke Diamond is a native of Kogi state in the Kabba/Bunu local government area of Kogi state is a graduate of Industrial mathematics from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State (FUTA) have over 12 years of experience in the media sector and has worked with top names in the industry. She is currently running a degree program at the National Open University to further her academic pursuits. She also attended the National Broadcast Academy for broadcast certification.

She worked with Africa Independent Television, AIT Ray Power FM, Akure, Ondo State and Ibadan Oyo State on both local and network broadcasts as a Newscaster, presenter, producer and special projects executive. She worked with Music and Culture 106.5 fm Ondo, Ondo State as head of news, programs and special projects until. She had a brief stint with Adaba 88.9 FM, Akure. Thereafter she worked as an Assistant Director at the Directorate of Media and Corporate Affairs of Achievers' University, Owo, Ondo State until she joined Crest 106.1 FM, Akure in March 2020. She is the pioneer Provost of Crest FM Media Academy.

She is a project consultant in addition to being a newscaster, reporter, news editor, presenter and producer. She is an avid child rights advocate and media partner with the United Nations Children's Fund, UNICEF South West, Nigeria and a founder of Alphacrystal International Limited.

Ajoke Diamond is a vivacious and inspiring woman who has established herself in the Ondo State media industry. She was until her appointment, the Head of Crest FM's Business Development unit.
