Just In: Ekiti APC chairman, Omotosho Passed On

The chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti state, Paul Omotosho is dead.

Omotosho died in the early hours of Wednesday after a brief illness 

It was gathered from close sources that the Imesi-Ekiti-born politician actively participated in a series of political meetings on Monday.

He was said to have complained of feeling unwell on Tuesday, which caused him to be rushed to a government hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, where he later died.

Recall that the late Omotosho was kidnapped in July 2023 and was released after five days.

Late Paul Omotosho was a Special Adviser and commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs under Fayemi's administration. He has also served as the Secretary to his party and he is a two-term party Chairman
