As the first African and Nigerian-owned major network marketing company, Healthgarde is paving the way for success and inspiring entrepreneurs across the continent. The leading network marketing company held its 2023 Healthgarde International Convention on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 at the Highpoint Event Centre in Agidingbi, Lagos state with the theme, "Stronger Together". Over 800 Healthgarde consultants and distributors came with their guests to celebrate the thriving growth of the business in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the brand which was formerly Swissgrade but now Healthgrade International and the 5th anniversary of being owned by a Nigerian. 30 years of creating wealth through health.

One of the highlights of the 2023 Healthgrade International Convention was the award recognition. The convention honoured outstanding consultants in its 9 categories. Director Mariah Oboh who qualified for an exclusive all-expenses paid trip to Egypt won the Highest GSV; Sandra Uzor won the award for the Highest Recruiter; Judith Amaogo won the Highest Builder (Move-Up) and the Highest Fast Start; Oluwaseyifunmi Hannah won the Social Media Star; Adeniyi Jones won the Depot of the year; Charity Ikedifa won the staff of the year; Aina Bolanle won the Raising Star of the year; Fatimah Salihu won the Entrepreneur of the year. while Benita Okonkwo won the prestigious awards of the year, the Business Leader and Star of Africa Award. Judith Amaogo won the 2nd place and Mariam Oboh won the 1st place award for the business leader of the year awards.  In appreciation for a job well done, all nominees won consolidated prizes for their significant contributions to the growth and success of Healthgrade.  It is also of note that the convention also featured a captivating drama presentation by the staff of Healthgrade, showcasing their creativity and talent. In addition, guests were treated to a mesmerizing performance by Dancerapy, who showcased their mastery of 20 different dance steps from various artists.

The convention was not just about celebrating but it also served as a platform for knowledge sharing and the development of essential entrepreneurial skills needed to succeed in the networking business.  Prof. Sunday Abayomi Adebisi, an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration and also the Ag. Director, Entrepreneurship and Skills Development Centre, University of Lagos, Nigeria delivered a thought-provoking speech on building an entrepreneurial pathway through network marketing opportunities. He emphasized the importance of seizing opportunities and leveraging the power of network marketing to achieve success. His insights and expertise provided valuable guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs in the Healthgrade network, in his words he encouraged everyone to work and see themselves as a team in other to achieve more. Also, Debo Olatunji, Special Legislative Adviser to Hon. Minister for Interiors, HE Bunmi Tunji Ojo was another distinguished speaker, who emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving success in the network marketing industry.

The story of Healthgrade is a testament to the power of entrepreneurship and innovation. Founded by Lovelyn Nwarueze and her daughter Lovelyn Bassey in 2019, Healthgrade was born out of a vision to create a direct-selling company that would empower and uplift Africans. She also appeals to the Nigerian government to make the economy friendly for people like them who do not have International backing like other networking companies in Nigeria. 

on the other hand, her pretty daughter and COO, Lovelyn Bassey said Healthgrade is determined to revolutionize the healthcare system in Nigeria through their company. We are poised to make a significant impact on Nigeria's healthcare system and inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs, as we are not ready to japa like others.
