Speaking with Event Diary Lifestyle on Thursday, December 14, 2023, she said, that I left my marital home with my three children for an unidentified place and that I even forgot that I had a husband until last year October when I suddenly realized that I was not at my husband's house and I started to have concerns.

She shed light on how she met and fell in love with her husband, Taiwo who is from a devoted and respected Muslim family in Ogun state and she is from a Christian background in Delta state. She said, "Though his family didn't support our marriage because am not a Muslim; we loved each other and we decided to take our relationship to the next level without minding the consequences. "Despite the threats, we got married on December 17th, 2005 and my husband even converted to Christianity and the union is blessed with 3 children. This decision didn't go well with my husband's family, especially his uncle who was an influential sheikh, he wouldn't relent in making sure that the marriage didn't walk out. Serval death threats, strangers tailing us and became so severe that we were constantly on the move, running and hiding to save our lives for 10 years (2006 to 2015)."

According to her, "My husband was involved in multiple fatal accidents that, if not for God's grace, would have claimed his life." She recalled some of the previous incidences that occurred on this fateful May 10, 2015, day when they pursued him along the Ogun State (Ijebu-ode) route from Lagos. He was hospitalized for months at General Hospital Odan, Lagos Island, following a horrific accident that nearly took his life and required numerous surgeries. His family visited the hospital for a reason that only they knew, but because of the quick thinking of the security team and medical staff, they were not permitted in while he was fighting for his life on the hospital bed. "Again on the 3rd of December 2017, he had another horrible experience as he was chased by an unidentified car, which led to another accident, within a 1 year and a few months after he survived the first accident.

She claimed to have left her house with her kids on January 21, 2018, to an unknown destination; and to have returned five years later after regaining consciousness. I was fortunate to have seen one of our close family friends, Mr. Lucky at Iweka Road Onitsha in Anambra state, where I found myself. He collected my phone number and promised to get back to us and since then I have not heard from him but my husband, Taiwo contacted me with an unknown number a few days after I saw his friend and till now he has not come to see us. I would want to use this opportunity to express my gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Okuelegbe for their wonderful support of myself and my kids. May the Lord continue to bless them.
