PRESIDENTIAL VISIT: APC NEC DISOWNS BETTA EDU, PASS VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE AND DISSOCIATE SELF FROM VISIT TO THE PRESIDENT

Elected Female NEC members of the All Progressives Congress and all the Zonal women leaders of the party from the six geopolitical zones have rejected the leadership of the National Women Leader, Dr Betta Edu for replacing them with fake women leaders during a visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. 

In a letter to the president signed by all the women led by the APC Deputy National Treasurer, Hon Omorede Osifo, APC National Ex-Officio South West, Hon Olubunmi Orinowo, APC National Ex-Officio North Central, Hon Oluwatoyin Opawoye, the women passed a vote of no confidence on the National women leader and dissociated themselves from the recent visit to the president.

The letter reads "We wish to state categorically and in strong terms that her visit to the presidential villa was a misrepresentation as she is in no way represent the elected National Women Officials and Zonal Women Leaders of the party against the news making rounds" 

The letter further reads "We hereby reject the leadership of Betta Edu and unanimously pass a vote of no confidence on her and whatever she represents"

They appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to use his good office to grant audience to the elected National female executives and zonal women leaders of the party.
