The largest culinary event in Africa takes place annually at Gtcenter, Plot 1 Water Corporation Drive, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos. The annual food event is to promote Small Scale Businesses across the continent.
Details of this development were made known at the press briefing, held at the Bank’s head office in Victoria Island, Lagos on Thursday 27th April 2023.
As part of its efforts in promoting enterprises, the financial institution explained that this year’s edition is going to be more colourful and interesting, as its free vendor stands have increased from 130 to 208.
Food lovers across Africa and the world are, therefore, expected to join this year’s edition of the food feast, which is part of GTCO’s annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to boost small-scale businesses.
“According to the Head of Media Relations, GTCO, Charles Eremi, our vision is to lead the financial institution in Africa, that is why this annual event is free for our vendors, by doing this, we are contributing to the growth of our communities.
“There will be a Master Class session which will feature renowned chefs across the world that will bring their experience in the international food business.”
“Speaking on the mode of selecting the vendors, he noted, “We sent out our notifications months ago through all digital platforms and print for any interested vendors to apply across the country.
