It was an ecstatic atmosphere today at the Daystar Christian Centre, Lagos, as the senior pastor and founder of the church, Pastor Sam and his wife, Nike Adeyemi took charge of services live - for the first time in almost four years.
Reports had earlier filtered in yesterday that the smooth-talking, charismatic pastor has returned to Nigeria. There have been several comments passing around in the past that the pastor and his family have relocated abroad. Pastor Sam Adeyemi has been conducting Daystar services and other activities from the US within this period. The duo were first spotted yesterday at the Strategic Leadership Conference of the church at its headquarters in Oregun, Lagos.
The SLC of the church is a meeting of its pastors and the workforce, where the vision of the church for every quarter is shared. The Adeyemi's had been away from the country since February 2019. It can not immediately ascertained however, if they are now finally back to Nigeria.
Pastor Sam was present at the three services of the church today.
