Chief Omodara in a chat with Roving Reporters Online however commended the current Akure North local government Chairman, Mr Ogbesetore for taking a bold step to address the removal of Chief Johnson Ajomole as the Olu of Ilado Community in Akure North local government.
Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi had last week said he had removed Olu of Ilado Igbatoro, Chief Johnson Ajomole over allegation of high-handedness and subsequently appointed Chief Ifedayo Joshua Afelumo as the traditional head of the community.
Reactions had however continued to trail the development by stakeholders in the state capital.
Reacting, chief Omodara said: “Chairman(Ogbesetore) you are very right with the steps already taken.
“I have sent messages to some Akure south chiefs and credible leaders to call the Deji and advise him from causing crisis, hatred and bitterness between the two local governments.
“Since the creation of Akure north LG in 1996, we enjoyed the tenure of the obas from Akure but the present Deji stands out as the principal of crisis.
“I passionately plead with Mr Governor to please call the Deji of Akure to order.
“Since his enthronement, there is no more love between the two local governments. Unfortunate.”
