Popular female Islamic scholar, Alhaja Kafilat Kaola, whose sex video was leaked to the public a few weeks back, has been stripped of her prestigious title of ‘Ummu Li Muminat’ (Mother of the faithful).The punitive action is said to have been endorsed by the Chief Imam of Ibadanland. It was confirmed during the end of Ramadan prayer (Eid-el-Fitri) at the Agodi, Ibadan praying ground on Monday.
Recall that a certain Alhaji Sharafdeen, her ex-husband reportedly released the sex tape that circulated wide online.
Before he released the video, the man alleged that Alhaja Kaola, a popular radio presenter, is a sexual addict.
After the leak, Alhaja Kaola did her best to clear herself, but that appeared not to be enough.
Alhaja Kaola had earlier revealed about a year ago that her former husband was threatening to release her nude photos and videos to the public.
They were both married with five children before they divorced in 2019. The marriage only lasted six years.
