Incumbent Lawmaker, Dr Abiodun Faleye Loses Seat As Hon Kolawole Ologede Clinch APC Akure North Constituency Ticket


Hon Kolawole Ologede has won
the Akure North House of Assembly primary election conducted by the All Progressive Congress today.

In the primary conducted at Tonike Event Centre Oba Ile, Ologede scored 52 votes to defeat the other three aspirants in the race.

The aspirants are, Princess Oluyede Aderonke polled 2 votes, Hon Akindele Adeniyi scored 2 votes and the incumbent lawmaker, Dr Abiodun Faleye has no vote.

The total number of accredited voters is 57 and 1 voided vote was recorded.

Speaking with newsmen, Hon Ologede commended the transparency of the committee that conducted the primary, describing the poll as free, fair and credible.

While appreciating the delegates that voted for him, he promised to bring the dividend of good governance to the doorstep of every resident and indigenes of the state constituency.
