Idris Ajimobi, the son of the former Governor of Oyo State, late Senator Isiaka Ajimobi has said he is ready to contest the gubernatorial election in Oyo in 2023.
He also described himself as one of the best options for the people of Oyo State in the 2023 general elections.
Idris who disclosed this at the APC Youth Festival at the Liberty Stadium, Ibadan also declared his interest in the gubernatorial contest.
“I will do my best to come out as one of the best options for the good people of Oyo state.
"I have always been a politician before my father was deceased but because my father was a political office holder, I couldn’t participate, but now, I feel the time is right to make him proud."
He also agreed to lend support to the youths and advised them to be helpful, supportive and learn from others.
