Ondo State chapter of Gospel Musicians Association of Nigeria, Akure Ifedore zone held it's election to various Executive post on Wednesday 2nd, June 2021 at United Apostolic Church, Odi Olowo, Akure and Evangelist Shalom Olumide Falegan emerged the new Chairman of Akure / Ifedore zone.
Shalom Olumide Falegan who contested the Chairmanship position with Evang Abiola Omonla Salami defected him with 17 votes. Falegan scored 46 vote against Salami who score 29 votes.
In his remarks, Shalom Olumide Falegan expressed his profound gratitude to Her Excellency Evangelist Dr Mercy Alayoige, the state Executives Elders and the entire members of GOMAN Akure Ifedore for thier unrelentless and massive support during the just concluded election in the zone, winning the elections was God. He therefore seek for the support of all members and Executives of GOMAN Akure Ifedore zone at all times as the government belongs to everyone. We are running it together. During my electoral campaign, I said, it's going to be an all inclusive government, we will know every members one by one. With God on our side we are ready to work for you. GOMAN belongs to us all, United we stand in Jesus mighty name.
