How Ex Ekiti SUBEB Boss, Prof Aladejana Slumps, Dies


Professor Francisca Aladejana, the immediate past Chairman, Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), and Special Adviser to Governor Kayode Fayemi on Basic and Secondary Education is dead. She died at the age of 67 years.

According to source, she was said to in her the office early today (Monday) morning before she passed on. The source added that she slumped and died after attending to a phone call.

Prof. Francisca Aladejana was a Professor of Science Education, an accomplished Educational Consultant and until her death was the Special Adviser to Ekiti Governor on Basic and Secondary Education (Vocational, Technical & GirlChild). She was the immediate past Chairperson, State Universal Basic Educaton Board, (SUBEB), Ekiti State. She is has served as Provost, College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti, the Chairperson, TETFUND Office, Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife, former Special Coordinator, Office of the Vice Chancellor, former Director, Institute of Education, former Vice-Dean, Faculty of Education and University Orator, OAU, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.  She is first of seven loving siblings born by Late James and Mary Borisade of Isamo compound, Ado-Ekiti. Prof Aladejana attended St Louis Girls Grammar School, Ikere-Ekiti as well as: Federal Advanced Teachers’ College, Okene 1974-1977 (NCE, 1977) University of Ife, Ile-Ife, 1982-1985; B.Sc.
