JUST IN: YINKA ODUNMAKIN IS DEAD

Yinka Odumakin, National Publicity Secretary of the pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere, is dead, The PUNCH has learnt.

Unconfirm  report says, he had been battling diabetes for sometime now but he died at the early hours of today at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.

His wife, Mrs Joe Okei-Odumakin, confirmed this to The PUNCH on Saturday

His last appearance was when himself and former Ekiti Governor, Ayo Fayose visited Pa Adebanjo at his resident. Though late Yinka Odunmakin was not looking healthy.

Until his death, Mr. Yinka Odumakin was an activist and the spokesman of Afenifere, a socio-cultural organisation of the Yoruba people of Nigeria.
