Open Letter to The PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus

Dear Sir,

The Devil in Bunmi Jenyo Has Reared it’s Head Again

I wish to bring to your notice, elements within our great party who have consistently embarked on damaging anti-party activities disregarding all advise to desist from such acts.
Only two weeks ago, Ex-Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose was seen throwing his weight behind one of APC’s National Leaders, Bola Ahmed and showed no remourse when called to order.
It is pertinent to point out at this point, Mr Chairman, that our great party, the PDP has been taking giant strides in the Nigerian polity as was witnessed in the just concluded Edo elections where we won with a landslide victory.
Unfortunately, there are elements within our party who do not align with the new rejuvenated spirit and gains of the PDP and by their actions and statements are directly or indirectly working against the party.
Mr Chairman, as we move closer to the Ondo elections which our great party is set to win by another landmark victory, there are members who do not align with the vision of the party.
One of such members is Rev. Bunmi Jenyo, the immediate past Southwest Secretary of the party.
Reverend Jenyo has been working with the opposition against our candidate, Barrister Eyitayo Jegede.
Reverend Jenyo has been quoted in interviews advising Barrister Jegede not to waste his money in the forthcoming elections as he would not win.
It is a known fact, Mr Chairman, that Reverend Jenyo in partnership with Mr Ayo Fayose who is represented by his spokesperson, Lere Olayinka, are working for and supporting the candidate of the Zenith Labour party, Mr Agboola Ajayi.
I quote: “Based on the fact and political situation in Ondo State, PDP candidate will come a distant third after Agboola of Zenith Labour Party.”
Jenyo made this statement at the Osun PDP Central Senatorial meeting where he met the LG chairmen and state Exco.
Mr Chairman sir, the devil in Bunmi Jenyo seem to have reared its head again and I am appealing to the national chairman and the NWC to institute disciplinary actions against Reverend Bunmi Jenyo and Ayo Fayose, represents by Lere Olayinka for trying to scuttle the party in the South West and disrupting the party’s bright prospect of clinching the Ondo State governorship seat.
I dare Bunmi Jenyo to swear with the Holy Bible, as a man of God he claims he is, if he did not make the above statements.
It is very urgent, Mr Chairman, to look into the activities of the aforementioned party members and nip the problem in the bud now before the cause more damage.

Signed
Dare Adeleke
