WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT PRINCESS ADEOLA SHITTU
Princess Adeola Kafilat Shittu is the founder of the proposed Princess Adeola Ejiwunmi Foundation and CEO of Event Dairy Lifestyle (EDL) which was established in 2018 and the state Correspondent of Citypeople Magazine in Ondo and Ekiti state. She was born 1st of December to the family of Alhaji (Otunba) Bushira O. Shittu and Pastor (Mrs.) R. A Shittu who hails from Ijedu Ode in Ijebu Ode Local Government Area of Ogun state. She was born and brought up in Lagos State.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
She attended Sherryville Nur /Primary School, Ojodu for her primary education. She proceeded to Adebayo Mokuolu College, Ogba campus and Perversity Education Center, Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja Lagos state for her secondary education. She also attended Idi-Ito Grammar School in Oyo state to re-seat her West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) where she passed with flying colours. She was admitted into Lagos State University, (LASU) Ojo Lagos state where she earned her Diploma in Social Work and Administration after the 2 years course, she gained admission into the same university where she studied Sociology and graduated in 2008 with a B.sc Sociology. She is currently working on her master's degree.
CAREER
Due to her passion for broadcasting, She joined the industry in 2006, where she started as a freelance at Eagle Cable Television under the leadership of Mrs. Bola Falade, CEO of Arewa Communication. She was also the producer of The Gospel, it was a Christian Bible quiz program in 2007 / 2008 and in 2009 she produced and presented “Kid’s Kitchen” a children's TV reality show which was air on Muhuri International Television (MITV). In 2010 she decided to explore other aspects of Media and this made her join the print media in other to gather more experience this led her to Citypeople Media Group where she works to date. As a state correspondent of Citypeople Magazine, she had the privilege to Host and Organize events like An Evening with Oba Adebiyi Adesida, the Afunbiowo 2 of blessed memory. An Evening with Ondo Upcoming Actors / Actresses, Ondo State First Female Entrepreneurial Award among many others.
She had also the privilege to Interview prominent meaningful Nigerians both in and outside Ondo State. In the last years of her journey in print media, she had opportunities to Interview those in the corridor of power, traditional rulers, business moguls, lawmakers, ministers, entrepreneurs and many more.
She is one of the directors at Bushira-Halim Concepts Limited. She co-chairs Xpressor Visuals with her son. She is a member of NAWORG, Ondo State Chapter, and a Member of Small and Medium Enterprises Agency Development. She was trained by the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs on capacity building and Empowerment programs in Agriculture (Fishery).
She is the Youth Matron of Gospel Pentecostal Ministry and, a committee member for women's groups at the same ministry.
She is blessed with a son Prince Olamilekan Adeyemi.
