Breaking News: EKSU V.C PROF. OLANIPEKUN INVOLVED IN A ROAD ACCIDENT

The Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Prof Edward Olanipekun has reportedly been involved in a ghastly motor accident today, Monday, May 18, 2020.

An eyewitness said the accident occurred along Ado-Iworoko Road this evening when the Vice-Chancellor’s vehicle collided with another vehicle and tumbled about 5 times.
“Prof Olanipekun just had a very bad accident now. He was passing through Ado-Iworoko Road this evening when his car hit another in-coming car and both vehicles tumbles,” the eyewitness said.

The eyewitness added that Prof. Eddy Olanipekun has been taken to the hospital, but in a very bad condition, adding that Nigerians and all student should put him in prayers.

The news was also shared by Comarade Olalekan Ayeni who posted on his Facebook page. He wrote

Prof. Eddy Olanipekun was appointed Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University on August 20, 2019, by Governor Kayode Fayemi.
Olanipekun is a Professor of Chemistry, and a former Dean, School of Post Graduate Studies of the University.
