What began as a birthday celebration for Fuji icon King Saheed Osupa turned into a broader celebration of music, longevity and digital success as the KSO Birthday Bash 2026 – Acapella & Metamorphosis Nights (Icon Celebration) brought together fans, artistes, industry stakeholders and members of the singer’s inner circle in Lagos.
Held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at The City Pulse Lounge inside LTV 8, Agidingbi, Ikeja, the all-white celebration ran from the evening into the early hours of Saturday, with the event eventually winding down at about 4:30am.
More than a birthday party, the gathering provided an opportunity to celebrate Osupa’s decades-long contribution to Fuji music while recognising a major achievement in the modern digital music economy — his attainment of 100 million streams on Audiomack.

The celebration opened on a spiritual note, with Sheikh Dr. Alhmed Olarenwaju Alfulanny leading the opening prayer and offering a special prayer for the celebrant.
