AGBEYEWA FARMS TO EXPAND CASSAVA VALUE CHAIN, BOOST JOBS AND PROCESSING CAPACITY IN 2026 — CHAIRMAN

Agbeyewa Farms has announced plans to deepen its cassava value chain operations, expand processing capacity and create more youth employment opportunities in Ekiti State as the agribusiness moves into 2026.

The Chairman of the company, Niyi John Olajide, stated this in his New Year message, where he described agriculture as a powerful tool for transforming livelihoods, communities and rural economies when backed by purposeful investment and strong value-chain systems.

According to Olajide, 2026 presents a major opportunity for Agbeyewa Farms to scale production, strengthen partnerships with farmers and further position agribusiness as a driver of inclusive growth and shared prosperity.

He explained that the company’s operations are not limited to farming, but structured to build an integrated cassava value chain — from cultivation and aggregation to processing and agro-trading — creating value and economic opportunities at every stage.

Olajide noted that job creation remains central to the company’s mission, especially in empowering young Nigerians to see agriculture as a sustainable and dignified pathway to long-term opportunities.

He added that Agbeyewa Farms will expand investments in skills development, strengthen collaboration with smallholder farmers and deepen its operational footprint in Ekiti, while laying the groundwork for future expansion into new locations.

The chairman appreciated the company’s employees, partners, host communities and the media for their continued support, saying their confidence reinforces Agbeyewa Farms’ commitment to responsible growth and impactful community development.

He expressed optimism about the company’s growth outlook for 2026, adding that Agbeyewa Farms will continue to create value and deliver lasting impact across the agricultural ecosystem.
