LINCS POWER ENERGY SOLUTIONS BREAKS GROUND ON 5MW POWER PROJECT IN ONDO

A significant milestone was achieved in Ondo State's journey towards energy sufficiency as Lincs Power Energy Solutions performed the groundbreaking ceremony for a 5-megawatt (MW) power project.

Facilitated by Hon. Olumbe Akinkugbe, Executive Director of Digital Exploration and Technical Services at Galaxy Backbone, the project is expected to provide reliable electricity to Ondo West and its environs, driving economic growth and improving the quality of life for residents.

The ceremony marked the beginning of the project's construction phase, with Lincs Power Energy Solutions pledging to deliver the project as promised. Plans are also underway to upgrade the power capacity to 20MW in the future.

The ceremony was attended by key government officials, traditional rulers, and community leaders, underscoring the significance of the project. Notable attendees included: Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, represented by Dr. Johnson, Special Adviser on Energy, The Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, Oba Dr. Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo, represented by High Chief Adeduro, the Sasere of Ondo Kingdom, alongside the Osemawe in Council, Hon. Ayo Akinfolarin, Chairman of Ondo West Local Government and various political appointees, community leaders, and women representatives

This groundbreaking event signifies the beginning of the project's construction phase. The 5MW power project is expected to provide reliable electricity to Ondo State and its environs, boosting economic growth and improving the quality of life for residents.

While delivering his welcome address, Hon. Akinkugbe expressed his gratitude to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his unwavering support in achieving energy sufficiency in Ondo State.

The governor, represented by Dr. Johnson, Special Adviser on Energy, thanked Hon. Akinkugbe for his tireless efforts in facilitating the project and encouraged the community to rally behind the initiative. The Osemawe offered prayers for the facilitator and the project's success, seeking divine guidance and protection.

Representing Lincs Power Energy Solutions, Project Manager Otinniyi Adeyemi Michael praised Governor Aiyedatiwa for his encouragement and assured the gathering that the project would be completed as promised. He revealed that the power capacity would be upgraded to 20 megawatts, further ensuring reliable electricity supply to Ondo State and its environs.
