ONDO NEWS: GOV. AIYEDATIWA’S MEDIA SHAKE-UP SPARKS REACTIONS IN ONDO STATE

The decision by Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to relieve two media aides of their duties has stirred reactions across political and media circles in Ondo State.

Earlier today, the Governor approved a reorganization of the Government House Media team, leading to the dismissal of Ewatomilola Emiola, Senior Special Assistant on Research & Documentation, and Kikelomo Isijola, Special Assistant on Digital Media. The affected aides have been directed to hand over government property to the Chief of Staff's office.

While the government maintains that the move is part of a broader restructuring, sources close to the administration suggest internal disagreements and a potential power shift may have influenced the decision.

Some political analysts believe this could be the beginning of a larger shake-up within the administration, as Governor Aiyedatiwa continues to consolidate power ahead of critical political decisions in the state.

Meanwhile, reactions have started pouring in from supporters and critics alike. While some commend the Governor’s move as a step towards efficiency, others speculate about possible rifts within his media team.

As of now, there has been no official statement from the affected aides. However, political observers are keenly watching for further developments in the coming days.
