AFENIFERE YOUTH LEADER, PRINCE ENIOLA OJAJUNI, KIDNAPPED IN ABUJA, N100 MILLION RANSOM DEMANDED

Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, the National President of the Afenifere National Youths Council and an indigene of Ilaje, Ondo State, has been abducted by unknown gunmen in Abuja. The tragic incident occurred on Monday, February 17, 2025, with reports confirming that Prince Ojajuni sustained a gunshot wound to his buttock before being taken away by his captors.

The kidnappers have since demanded a ransom of N100 million for his release, sparking widespread concern among his family, associates, and community members. The Afenifere National Youths Council, in a statement signed by its National Secretary, Abiodun Aderohunmu, expressed deep distress over the abduction and called for urgent intervention from security agencies to ensure Prince Ojajuni’s safe return.

The council emphasized his significant role as a youth leader and advocate for national development, describing the incident as a grave threat to peace and security. They also urged the Nigerian Police Force, the Department of State Services (DSS), and other relevant authorities to intensify efforts to rescue him.

This unfortunate event has heightened concerns over the increasing wave of insecurity in Nigeria, particularly the growing menace of kidnapping. Members of the public have been urged to pray for Prince Ojajuni’s safe return and provide any useful information that could assist in his rescue.

As of now, there have been no updates on his release or the status of negotiations with the abductors. The nation awaits swift action from security agencies to bring Prince Eniola Ojajuni back safely.
