Mrs. Olusola Oworu has held significant roles in various esteemed organizations, including Coopers and Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), NAL Merchant Bank (now Sterling Bank Ltd.), and Citibank Nigeria, where she advanced to the position of Vice President.
She served as a Special Adviser on Commerce and Industry to former Lagos State Governor Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN, and also held the position of Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry. In these roles, she was responsible for developing greenfield projects, improving the investment climate, and attracting new investments to Lagos State.
Mrs. Oworu earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Accounting and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. She was an Independent Director at First Bank of Nigeria Limited from January 2016 to April 2021. Currently, she is the Chairperson of the Lekki Concession Company and serves on the Advisory Board of Landmark Village, Lekki.
