MOHBAD: LAGOS LAW FIRM, SALAWU, AKINGBOLU & CO DISMISS BUKKY JESSE'S ALLEGATIONS ON DNA TEST ON LATE SINGER’S SON

The son of the late hip-hop singer Aloba Ilerioluwa Promise, also known as Mohbad, has been the subject of accusations made by a blogger named Bukky Jesse. Salawu, Akingbolu & Co., a law company located in Lagos, has strongly dismissed any role in the test.

The legal practice called the allegations "baseless" and asked the public to ignore them in a strongly worded release.

The blogger had allegedly accused the legal firm of working with medical facilities to test Mohbad's son Liam's DNA in an apparent attempt to increase her number of online followers, according to the attorneys.

Nevertheless, Salawu, Akingbolu & Co. denied any involvement in such medical operations, emphasizing that they are litigation lawyers and not medical professionals.

As to the statement from the legal firm, their involvement with Mrs. Wunmi Aloba, Mohbad's wife, is limited to providing legal assistance for the ongoing litigation.

Their steadfast dedication to morality and professionalism in their legal practice was highlighted, along with their history of standing up for people's rights and confronting governmental abuses.

Bukky Jesse's claims were dismissed by the company as baseless, and they claimed that she spread misleading material to get attention and make money.

Since our business is a law firm rather than a hospital, we have never at any stage performed a Deoxyribonucleic (DNA) test on Mrs. Wunmi Aloba or any other individual. An unemployed, self-serving attention-seeker from overseas has made this completely untrue complaint, she believes in making money by maligning people with integrity to attract followers on the Internet.

They urged the public to dismiss Jesse’s claims and emphasized their dedication to upholding the integrity of the legal profession.

In response to questions regarding the paternity of Liam, Salawu, Akingbolu & Co. emphasized that under the law, only the father, in this case, Mohbad, has the right to challenge paternity.

According to them, Mohbad had never questioned Liam’s paternity during his lifetime, and even if there were other children born out of wedlock, they would still have legal inheritance rights.

The law firm challenged Jesse to produce any alleged DNA results she claims to possess and warned of legal repercussions for her actions.

They assured the public that they would pursue legal avenues to address the false accusations and bring Jesse to account for her statements.
