The Yoruba Heritage Group has expressed unwavering confidence in the personality and leadership of Ondo State ministerial nominee, honourable Olubunmi Tunji Ojo.
Addressing a Press conference in Abuja on Friday, the group's President, Prince Segun Adesemoye, hailed President Bola Tinubu for the appointment of Olubunmi Tunji Ojo as a Minister of the federal republic of Nigeria, stating that Ondo State and the entire Yoruba are solidly behind the decision.
Adesemoye reaffirmed that all citizens of Ondo State, and indeed the Yoruba nation's support for Olubunmi Tunji Ojo is firm and absolute.
The statement reads " Olubunmi Tunji Ojo is a worthy Son of Yoruba Land, a young and vibrant leader who have distinguished himself in both private and public service. We have absolute confidence in his capacity to serve the country in line with the renewed hope vision of President Bola Tinubu".
Adesemoye added that despite the machinations of detractors, the Yoruba Heritage Group is confident in the ability and leadership of Olubunmi Tunji Ojo and fully supports his appointment to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He further urged the nominee to ignore detractors and stay focused on the task ahead, adding that the Yoruba Heritage Group have full confidence in him.
The Yoruba Heritage Group wished Olubunmi Tunji Ojo the best of luck in his new ministerial role and sincerely supports his efforts to serve the nation.
The Group concluded by reaffirming their commitment to the development of the nation and the advancement of the Yoruba cultural heritage.
