Following our publication on a fallen high-tension electric pole at Ikotun, in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State. We can authoritatively inform you that the two affected poles have been erected by IKEDC.
The resident of Irepodun Street off, Ile Eja Road Okerube via Ikotun in Alimosho local government area Igando Ikotun LCDA Lagos State is using this medium to appreciate the management of Ikeja Electric Distribution Company for their response following our publication weeks ago.
They also appreciate the effort of one Engr Ademola in charge of the zone. But the Ikeja Electric Distribution Company are yet to complete the job as the residents are still in darkness days after IKEDC install the 2 poles given to the resident of Irepodun Street off Ile Eja Road Okerube via Ikotun in Alimosho local government area Igando Ikotun LCDA Lagos State.
According to a message received by Event Diary Lifestyle, the message reads; "The Pole was eventually erected 2 days ago but Nepa has refused to transfer the wire on the pole because no rubbing of their palm. Life and businesses are in danger." It further stated that one Adesokan Opeyemi aka Obasanjo was the one who leads the team.
The resident of the affected area is calling on the Management of Ikeja Electric Distribution Company to step into the matter as many businesses and life are at stake.
