Following our post on the emergence of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has been named the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu.
The Chief of Staff, Wasiu had debunked the news and disassociated himself from it. Saying that there was no such thing on the table.
He wrote: “Fake news is a monster that must be curbed. Kindly ignore any fake news quoting this account for posting about any political appointment. Nothing of such was ever posted here.”
Though Mr. Wasiu had debunked the rumour on his Facebook page. While some Nigerians see the news as a welcome development for Mr. Speaker, some felt it was too early for such. Below are the reactions:
The charismatic Gbajabiamila was elected for a 6th term at the lower chamber during the general election as the lawmaker representing Surulere Federal Constituency of Lagos State.
