MEET MERCY ITOHAN OSAYI, THE PRESIDENT OF WOMEN OF DIGNITY INTERNATIONAL (WODI), CANADA
MERCY ITOHAN OSAYI is the President and Founder of Women of Dignity International (WODI) a non-profit organization registered in Canada. WODI is passionate about EMPOWERING Women and Youth in Canada and its environs.
Mercy is a mother and career personality with a mission for developing women and building better personalities has a wide study in Mass Communication, having her diploma from the Auchi Polytechnic; a bachelor's at Delta State University and a Master's degree from the University of Lagos. She holds the Canadian Retail and Customer Service certification, Canadian Workplace Essentials, Customer Service Excellence Certificate, START Customer Care Program Certificate and a Diploma in Social Works. Currently studying Human Resource Management.
She worked at LAPO Microfinance Bank as Client Protection and Support Manager and at BMO as a Customer Service Representative. She has a Public Relations experience at The Quadrant Public Relations as a trainee Executive. Her working experience stands her out in public relations, customer protection and Counselling. Her volunteer works include Culture Link community services, Salvation Army, New Circles community services, Grace Place and Fruitful Communities all in Montreal and Toronto, Canada.
She founded Women Of Dignity International in 2021 and the organisation has impacted women globally. A few of their programs include; WODI Impact, BOYZ to MEN, GIRLZ to LADIES, Buka Plus, WODI Foodbank, WODI Talkshow (Social issue to take women out of depression, domestic violence, Mental Health etc), Women Empowerment, Integration and settlement, Family Support, WODI GLOBAL SKILLS INITIATIVE and many more. These have earned WODI several awards in Canada. She is married to Prince Monday Onaiwu Osayi and blessed with lovely children: Idiakhosa, Eloghosa, Osarefe and Osaruese.
