A prominent businessman and popular auto dealer Alhaji Chief Lanre Akanni Shittu (Chairman of Lanre Shittu Motors) has passed on.
Though details surrounding his death are still sketchy, sources close to the family of the big-time auto merchant and socialite have confirmed the development to CityScoop.
Alh. Shittu, whose company is the number one dealer for Mack Trucks in Africa turned 65 last month, January 8, 2023. He was the only dealer for Sany Heavy Duty Equipment and Yutong Buses in Nigeria and also an accredited dealer of KIA, NISSAN, Jinbei Buses, to name a few. On his 64th birthday last year, he was treated to a very private surprise soiree by his youngest wife, Ebunoluwa Oyinda Shittu, a lawyer and Businesswoman at a private venue in Lagos.
He will be buried tomorrow, Tuesday, 28th February 2023 at the Vaults & Gardens Cemetery , FRCN Close, Ikoyi Lagos. Time 1pm. And it's 8th Days Fidau will come up on 7th of March 2023.
He is survived by an aged mother, wives, children, grandchildren , in-laws & friends.
