An unlucky Nigerian man got deported from Canada barely a month after relocation for killing a parrot.
Dr Olusesan who shared the story on the micro-blogging app, Twitter revealed that the parrot had a GPS tracker but the Nigerian man unknowingly killed it.
In his words:
Them deport person from Canada within one month on arrival because e go kill pet parrot wey wear GPS tracker. Like, are you blind?
Reacting to the tweet, Aluko Olami shared a similar story that happened in Qatar, according to him this particular Nigerian killed cats at midnight for soup.
He wrote:
The same thing happened here in Qatar around 2012, One of our countrymen will just go out at midnight to kill cats to make soup. He has been doing it so long before the police get him one night. He was deported too. The funny thing is he was doing a good job of around $3k at the time.
