JUST IN: LATE ALAAFIN OF OYO EX-OLORI, QUEEN OLA'S FATHER IS DIED

One of the Oyomesi, the Alapinni of Oyoland, High Chief Abdul-Rasheed Shehu, this morning passed on.

According to Vanguard report, he died early this morning after battling an undisclosed ailment.

He has been buried this afternoon, according to Islamic rites, within the family compound.

Late High Chief Abdul-Rasheed Shehu, the Alapinni of Oyoland is the father of Queen Badira fondly called Queen Ola, one of the ex- Olori of late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III.
