The Executive Chairman of Akoko North West Local Government, ANWLGA, Honourable Ayodele Samson Akande, FCA has joined other sympathisers to condole with the families of the Executive Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, over the death of their mother, Madam Grace Akeredolu.
Hon. Akande in a statement he signed, described the demise of the matriarch of the Akeredolu’s Clan as an uncontrollable phenomenon that can never be averted by any conscious human means.
Akande described the deceased while alive as saying, Mama Grace Akeredolu lived gracefully which is evident in testimonies in public domains from his children, families and sympathizers who have to continue to eulogize the deceased for her immeasurable contributions to his immediate children, church and society at large.
Akande said he and the entire people of ANWLG expressed their condolences to the Governor’s immediate and extended family members and that he, his family and his people will continue to pray fervently for God to strengthen them at this grieving moment.
Akande's statement below:
With a heavy heart do I expressed the deepest condolences from my family and the people of Akoko North West Local Government, ANWLGA to your Excellencies and families for the loss of your darling Mother and Matriarch of the Akeredolu’s Clan.
Apart from the fact, that Mama Grace lived gracefully but she was more than just a valued mother but a formidable defender and advocate of humanity and family values.
It is on record that throughout her prayerful life, Mama was not only a good mother but an accomplished one as reflected in the qualities and calibre of her children as a compassionate personality she also radiates love and is emotionally concerned about the welfare of all and sundry.
These are evidenced by the eulogies contained in the condolences sympathizers have continued to pour out on Mama for her immeasurable contributions to his immediate families, church and society at large.
Though death may take away our loved ones before we are ready to let them go, the memories we shared with Mama while she was here I know will continue to linger in our memories and that warm feeling will always inspire us to emulate her.
While the weight of loss undoubtedly bears heavily on your mind and that of everyone Mama left behind.
We know that this tumultuous season will the end time give rise to happy days.
This is just a season of the cold night that must breaks into daylight as we know that this grief too will give way to shining rays of warm memories for all your family.
As a Christian, my consolation lies in the fact that Our Mama Grace not only lived a fulfilling life but was committed to her Christian faith throughout her longevity and she has just gone to rest eternally.
But in the spirit of my faith in the Lord, I, My family and ANWLGA People are assuring you that we’ll always consider you and your entire family in all our prayers that God should strengthen you at this moment, Amen
