A Community based humanitarian advocacy group under the aegis of J & D FOUNDATION has launched an N15M [Fifteen Million Naira] Save-My-Soul (S-M-S) advocacy campaign to cover the cost of an urgent Kidney Transplant for a 100Level Theater Art Student of Kogi State University, Master Adebayo Oluwapelumi Yakubu, 19years old suffering from renal failure.

A Press Statement Issued by the Media & Communication Desk of J & D Foundation stated that the organization has officially commenced the activation of advocacy for a young lad, Yakubu who hails from Ikaram-Akoko, Ondo State but was diagnosed and confirmed to be suffering from last stage renal failure.

Calling on good Samaritans and compassionate Nigerians  to come and show mercy and compassion by donating to Yakubu who is critically ill and battling to survive an acute renal failure his donations can be  paid to ADEBAYO OLUWAPELUMI YAKUBU, POLARIS BANK ACCOUNT: 3056122851

And he could be reached on his GSM mobile phone no. 0704-421-7017 and his Mother too (Mama Bayo 0706-835-9331) respectively.

J & D Foundation while activating the Adebayo N15m Advocacy Campaign declared that the organization has anonymously been the good Samaritan that has been responsible for the total hospital bills and other needs of the young lad, Yakubu whose bright future has become bleak due to his deteriorating health conditions.

The urgent need and the deteriorating condition of Yakubu's health instigated the reason why the humanitarian organisation is making the case public.

To restore hope to Yakubus's life, J & D Foundation can no longer wait but rather make public advocacy to rescue Yakubu and his mother at FMC, Owo with funding to pay for all his medical expenses covering his drugs, weekly dialysis, feeding, diagnostics fees and other sundry expenses incurred.

On Yakubu's medical certification obtained from the Federal Medical Center, FMC, Owo, Ondo-State signed by a Consultant Nephrologist confirmed that “Adebayo Oluwapelumi Yakubu  Ref /M/HOSP.NO.19223 a 19yr Old Man is presently being managed for End-Stage Renal Disease in our facility and on Maintenance Dialysis 2-3 times in a Week.

The FMC Nephrologist concluded by requesting that Yakubu's case is very critical and needed to be given the immediate necessary support to allow him to have his good quality of life back on track.

J & D Foundation is now calling on well-meaning Nigerians and good-spirited individuals, Private Establishments, Companies and Government Agencies and Departments, and MDAs to come and rescue Yakubu whose health condition has deteriorated so badly.

He is currently bedridden while his Poor Parents are hapless, helpless and waiting for financial aid, a Kidney donor for immediate transplant to come and assist them as they are daily losing hope for their son's survival.

J & D Foundation is also through this Save My  Soul (S-M-S) initiative on behalf of Adebayo whose parents have become disillusioned as their income cannot meet up the financial bills for his Kidney Transplant.

His father who recently retired as a Security Guard is yet to be paid his gratuity and has been suffering and battling to survive a terminal ailment while his mother was a petty trader in Akoko Village begging and pleading profusely for all possible support.

J & D Foundation in their usual ethical practices had promised to monitor the process of the financial disbursement and spending of all donations paid for Yakubu’s Kidney Transplant and present the same report to the public in due course.
