Folake Abiola, Glo accountant has reportedly committed suicide by drinking snipper which led to her sudden death.
The incident occurred on Friday, May 27, 2022, at her residence, at number 1 Abayomi Kukomi close in Osapa London, Lekki.
It was gathered that Afolake who is single, and childless had suffered depression for a while before she took her life.
According to a family member, name withheld, “she has been battling depression for a while on account of no husband and no child.”

That's why I don't blame the party goers, it's really better to be a party freak than be depressed, ladies especially single women please don't kill yourself with loneliness, truly, sometimes we want to stay away from men due to their lies, etc but still it's not worth it... if you know you don't have a man of your own, please go out with friends, party, club, drink, if you like get high and sleep away your sorrow, life goes on.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of Lagos state police command SP Benjamin Hundeyin said the incident happened on May 27, 2022.
When the policemen got to the scene, her family members were there and they official requested that the corpse be released to them to enable them to bury her according to Islamic rites.
Based on compassionate grounds her corpse was released to her family for burial.”
She is a core professional who is said to be committed to her job, but there are also indications that she is not married, has no children, and is not involved in any relationship that her friends are aware of, She is a devoted Christian. Until her death, she works with Glo as their accountant.
