SENATOR PATRICK AYO AKINYELURE
Senator Ayo Akinyelure fondly called Allover is a two-term senate who is seeking reelection for the third time in the senate. He was the Labour Party candidate for Ondo central senatorial in 2007 but lost the seat to former senator Gbenga Ogunniya. In 2011, he re contested and won the Ondo central senator seat where he serve for 4 years under the platform of the labour party, and in 2015 he re-contested under PDP but lost the seat to the current Minister of State Niger Delta, Senator Tayo Alasoadura. He re-contested in 2019 and won the Ondo Central senatorial under the platform of PDP. The Chairman, Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions is seeking a third term in the senate. He is a native of Idanre.
SENATOR OMOTAYO ALASOADURA DONALD
He is the incumbent Honourable Minister for State Niger Delta Affairs. He is a native of Iju in Akure North local government area of Ondo state. He was the Chairman Senate Committee on Upstream Petroleum and a member of Ethics and Privileges (2015-2019). This grassroots politician with over 3 decades of political experience was the Commissioner for Finance and Planning Ondo State during the late Gov. Agagu's administration. He later left PDP for ACN now APC, in 2012 and 2016, he contested for the governorship seat but lost at the two attempts. This Senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial District is seeking 2nd term to the senate under the platform of APC.
AKOGUN ADETOKUNBO MODUPE
Tokunbo Modupe is known as a cosmopolitan media guru who has been involved in the highest level of Public Relations practise for over three decades holding briefs for a local and international clientele spread across different sectors. Despite his successful and impressive career as a very big player in the PR industry in Nigeria, his love for politics cannot be underestimated. He is the man behind The Preferred Team [TPT]. He was the Director-General of President Jonathan/ Sambo's re-election campaign in Ondo state in 2015. He started his politics in 2007 with the labour party but he later joined PDP. And he had since been a leader and active member of the party. He had indicated interest to contest for the 2023 Ondo North senatorial seat, the same seat he contested for in 2019 under the platform of PDP.

Lebi is an icon, Legal luminary, philanthropist, motivator, visionary leader, and academic scholar from Akotogbo / Ajagbu in Irele Local Government. He is the Chairman of EMEL Oil & Gas Limited, the Principal partner of MorayoLebi& Co and EMEL Multi projects Limited. This lawyer, business guru cum politician was in the Ondo South Senatorial District under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2015 and he is said to be contesting for the same seat in the forthcoming general election.
H.E AGBOOLA AJAYI
His Excellency Agboola Alferd Ajayi is the immediate past deputy governor to Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) during his first term. In 2020 he contested against his boss, Arekedolu during the last Ondo governorship election as the ZLP governorship candidate. This former lawmaker had joined the list of prominent politicians eyeing the senate ticket for the Ondo South Senatorial seat. Though much is not known on which of the political parties he will be contesting but he had indicated his interest to contest for the 2023 Ondo South senatorial ticket. He is from the Ese-Odo local government area of the state.
ARABA JIMOH IBRAHIM
Araba Jimoh Ibrahim needs little or no introduction as far as politics in Nigeria is concerned. Araba is a Nigerian lawyer, politician, businessman, and philanthropist. He is the chairman and chief executive officer of Global Fleet Group, a diversified conglomerate based in Nigeria, with business interests and subsidiaries in neighbouring West African countries. He is a major factor in Ondo state politics. In 2003, he contests for the Ondo governorship under the platform of the All Nigeria People's Party (ANPP). He later joined PDP where he also contested the governorship election. Araba has fondly called had since joined All Progressive Congress (APC), a platform under which he is contesting for the Ondo South Senatorial seat. Araba who has authored three books and is the publisher of the National Mirror Newspaper in Nigeria is one of the strong forces in Ondo South Senatorial eyeing the senate seat come 2023.

Ifedayo Adams Adedipe, Esq., is the principal partner and managing solicitor. This Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) graduated from the University of Ile-Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) (OAU) Ile-Ife in Osun State were bagged a degree in Law in 1979. He was called to the Nigerian Bar on the 19th of July, 1980. He founded his law firm in 1986 known as I. A. Adedipe & Co. In 2006, he formed the new firm, Adedipe & Adedipe Legal Practitioners to meet the ever-expanding nature of practice and to expand the frontiers of practice. His areas of interest include Corporate/Commercial law, Constitutional law, Litigation & Property law practice.
This member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the International Bar Association had joined the Ondo Central Senatorial race to represent his people in the red chamber. He is aspiring under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Mathew Oye Oyerinmade is a philanthropist who has contributed immensely to poverty alleviation and community development in different parts of Ondo State. Popularly called MATO, Oyerinmade is a successful businessman, an entrepreneur of international repute, and a man of remarkable character. The oil-and-gas-magnet-turned-politician, who was born in Oke-Igbo, an ancient town in Ileoluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, is an alumnus of the then Ondo State University, now Ekiti State University. He also holds a Master's degree in Business Studies and Business Administration from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt.

Pastor Olajide Ipinsagba is a native of Ikare Akoko in Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State Nigeria. Hon. Jide Ipinsagba is the Chairman of Manuex Group of companies, He is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). He was the 2019 Ondo North senatorial candidate for African Democratic Congress (ADC).
He graduated from Ondo State Polytechnic now Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo with HND Surveying in 1987. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Delta State University Abraka in 2000 and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba in 2012. PhD in business administration in view. He is also a life member of Junior Chamber International, USA; a leadership, training, and entrepreneurship development organization. He is eyeing APC Ondo North Senatorial ticket to represent his people at the red chamber come 2023.

Dr. Tola Awosika, a graduate of economics and politics from the University of Essex and a Master’s degree in Marketing from the University of Coventry is one of the youngest aspirants eyeing the Ondo central senatorial ticket under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the forthcoming election in other to represent his people at the red chamber. The 36-year-old, is a serial entrepreneur, economist, political enthusiast, and astute businessman. His parent company BDT Group, Awosika built successful businesses in several industries including Power, Oil & Gas, Marine Services, Construction, Pharmaceuticals, and more. He established Tola Awosika Foundation (TAF) and is on the board of the Christian Benevolence Foundation. In recognition of his global leadership and extraordinary determination, he earned a Doctorate from the Swiss School of Business & Management.
OTUNBA ADENIRAN OYEBADE
Otunba Adeniran Oyebade is one of the young vibrant philanthropists, Entrepreneurial cum Politician eyeing the Ondo Central senatorial ticket under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC). This native of Ondo town in Ondo West Local government Area of Ondo state is a graduate of Geology from Towson University before he proceeded to the University of Maryland for his Master’s Degree in Business Administrations. Before he joined politics, He works at the White House as a Software Development Advisor for the Executive Office of the President of the United States of America, Office of Management and Budgets since 2013 till date.
PRINCESS (HON) OMOWUNMI
Hon Princess Omowunmi Olatunji–Ohwovoriole a native of Akure South Local government of Ondo State holds her first degree in the English Language from Lagos State University and a master's degree in the English language from the University of Lagos respectively. She is one of Ondo's female influential politicians in the sunshine state who has contested for councillorship in Lagos and was later appointed board member of Lagos State Sports Council by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, then Governor of Lagos State during his second term. She was elected to represent her people of Oshodi / Isolo Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly for 8years. She was appointed Commissioner for Women Affairs in Ondo State during Arakunrin Akeredolu’s first term. She is currently the Chairman of, Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State.
Princess the CEO, Praourk interior Ltd, a Senior Pastor of the Happy Family Revival Centre, and Founder of My Choice Group contested for the 2019 House of Reps race and she participated in the bye-election of Akure North / Akure South federal constituency. She is eyeing an APC ticket for Ondo Central Senatorial districts in the forthcoming election.

Chief Afolabi Obasuyi (PAO) FCIDA is the chairman / CEO of Poinsett Group Nigeria Ltd and the Agbaka of Alagbaka. He had been in Ondo State politics for years. He was formerly in Labour Party before he joined APC. He is eyeing the Ondo central senatorial under APC. He contested for the same seat in 2019.
ADENIYI ADEGBONMIRE SAN
Adeniyi Adegbonmire, SAN, is a lawyer and son of former Secretary to Ondo State Government, the late Chief Wumi Adegbonmire. He is contesting for the Ondo Central Senatorial ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC. Adeniyi is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1988.
HON IROJU OGUNDEJI
Hon. Iroju is the lawmaker representing Odigbo Constituency 1 at the Ondo state house of Assembly. He is a second-term lawmaker and former deputy speaker of the house. He is a native of Odigbo local government area of Ondo State, Nigeria. He once served as the Ondo state commissioner for Employment & Productivity. In 2015, he was the only PDP lawmaker in the state house of assembly before he dump the party to join APC. This graduate of Accounting and law from the University of Ado Ekiti and Adekunle Ajasin University irrespective is eyeing the Ondo South Senatorial ticket.
HON. MAYOWA SAMUEL AKINFOLARIN
He is the incumbent lawmaker representing Ile- Oluji/ Okeigbo/ Odigbo Federal Constituency at the lower chamber of the National Assembly. The position he occupy since 2015 till date. Before that, he was a member of the Ondo State House of Assembly lawmaker from 2003 to 2011. He also served as the Deputy Speaker of the House then. He was in PDP before he defect to APC in 2018. This graduate of Sociology from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaira has picked senate form to represent Ondo South senatorial at the senate.
