The Akarigbo of Remoland and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, Torungba ll, LLB, LLM, FCA, FBIR has been appointed by the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun as the new Chairman of Ogun Council of Traditional Rulers.
A letter signed by the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Peter Kolawole Fagbohun, said the Akarigbo will be taking over the mantle of leadership of the council from the Awujale and paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, following the expiration of his tenure.
The State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun is expected to perform the inauguration of the Chairman at the Conference Hall of the Obas Complex, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta on Monday 25th of October 2021.
