SCOAN CELEBRATES GOD’S FAITHFULNESS WITH GLOBAL THANKSGIVING SERVICE

By Dare Adejumo

This Sunday, December 8, The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) will host a grand thanksgiving service at its headquarters in Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos, to express profound gratitude to God for His faithfulness as the unshakable foundation upon which the church was built.

The celebration, now in its third edition, will not only take place in Lagos but also across various nations and continents where members and Emmanuel TV Partners will gather to rejoice in the Lord.

SCOAN has numerous reasons to celebrate. Like many other churches, SCOAN was closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Even after the nationwide reopening of churches, SCOAN remained shut due to the influx of international visitors who sought to experience its services. Prophet T.B. Joshua, in his divine wisdom, declared, “I will not reopen the church until I hear from God,” prioritizing safety and divine timing over pressure.

Tragically, shortly after resuming limited gatherings, Prophet T.B. Joshua—God’s General and a spiritual giant whose life profoundly impacted millions worldwide—passed away. His departure marked a significant moment of grief and uncertainty for SCOAN. Many skeptics predicted the church's demise, failing to recognize that the same God who founded SCOAN would continue to sustain it.

However, God’s unwavering presence ensured the continuation of His work. The mantle of leadership passed to Pastor Evelyn Joshua, a woman of immense virtue and spiritual depth. Her quiet strength and divine preparation equipped her to lead the church into a new era. Her life and ministry affirm that Prophet T.B. Joshua, guided by the Holy Spirit, made no mistake in choosing her as his partner in life and ministry.

Under Pastor Evelyn Joshua’s leadership, the anointing of God remains evident in the church’s activities. Her humility, intelligence, spiritual endowment, and dedication have brought blessings, healings, and miracles to people worldwide. Many now see that T.B. Joshua’s legacy lives on through her.

The church continues to grow daily, with requests for crusades pouring in from various countries. This year’s thanksgiving service promises to be a vibrant and colorful event, with members adorned in their best to honor God.

“We are overwhelmed with gratitude for all that God has done for The Synagogue Church Of All Nations,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua shared. “His faithfulness has brought healing, deliverance, blessings, and salvation. He has preserved and multiplied our families and opened doors of breakthrough. We are celebrating His unfailing goodness.”

Over the past three years since reopening, SCOAN has achieved remarkable milestones under Evelyn Joshua’s leadership:

The Akure branch, once inactive, has been revitalized and reopened.

Crusades, partners' meetings, and charity works have been held in Ghana, South Africa, Zambia, Spain, Kenya, and Argentina.

Massive charity initiatives have been carried out in Nigeria and other countries.

The Women of Grace Conference was launched to inspire true womanhood.

The International Youth Conference was established to promote peace and prepare a brighter future for the next generation.

The thanksgiving service will be preceded by a special “Healing and Deliverance Service” on Friday, which is expected to attract attendees from across the globe. SCOAN’s “Living Water Service” continues to enrich participants spiritually, a testament to the enduring impact of its founder’s vision.

Pastor Evelyn Joshua remains steadfast in upholding Prophet T.B. Joshua’s legacies, fostering sound spiritual growth and deepening members' prayer lives through programs such as retreats at the T.B. Joshua Mountain.

SCOAN is indeed a mystery—a church planted by God, thriving against all odds. As Scripture assures, the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. SCOAN continues to flourish, a testament to God’s power and faithfulness.
